My friend and co-worker, Arielle, has been taking a crocheting class in Boston for a few weeks. After she finished her first scarf, we were chatting about how awesome it would be to make Toby one for St. Patrick's Day. The next day, she went to class and did just that, so I thought it would be the perfect thing to share with you for this fun holiday.
Toby's not a huge fan, but doesn't hate it either. She made it out of machine washable yarn, so next winter we could add it to a sweater if it's crazy cold.
Happy St. Patrick's Day from Toby!

Oh my god! Your weenie is SO cute!!! Was he hard to potty-train? I hear horror stories about them, but they are just too darn cute! Also, cute crochet! Wish I could figure it out!

Thanks! He was actually pretty easy. We used these things called Poochie Bells - a ribbon with bells on it that hung from the door we took him out of to go to the bathroom. At first, every time he went out, we picked up his feet, "rung the bells" and said "let's go outside". After a few weeks, he understood ringing the bells or hearing "let's go outside" meant it was timmmme to go. It was great for him to have a way to tell us when he needed to go!
DeleteI love all of these pics!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's SO cute!! Thank you for making it for him!!
